Program Highlights
- ELDT-Compliant Theory Instruction: Covers all federally required topics for entry-level drivers, including safety, regulations, and vehicle control.
- Pre-Trip Inspection Training: Learn how to conduct a complete vehicle inspection—an essential safety and compliance skill.

- Load Securement & Trailer Handling: Understand the basics of end-dump trailer handling and cargo securement for safe, legal transport.
- DMV Road Test Preparation: Includes preparation for all parts of the road test and one DMV test fee ($40.00).

Full time - 6-Week CDL-A Program
Program Summary
- Duration: 6 weeks (240 hours)
- Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day
- Format: Classroom, range, and road
- Compliance: FMCSA ELDT + NYS DMV
Week 1: Orientation & Theory (40 hours)
- Minimum passing score: 80% on written assessments.

- Daily pre-trip inspections
- Coupling/uncoupling
- Backing: straight-line, offset, parallel (sight/blind/driver/passenger)
Road (20 hours):
- Urban, rural, highway,
- Shifting, turns, hazard response
Observation (20 hours):
- Ride-along and peer evaluations
Assessments (20 hours):
- Backing, pre-trip, and road ride evaluations (≥80%)
Week 6: Final Testing & Transition (40 hours)
Activities:
- DMV road test prep and scheduling
- Final evaluations and grading
Administrative & Compliance
Before Start:
- CDL-A permit, DOT medical card, drug test
During Program:
- Attendance tracking (max 4 absences)
- PPE, dress code, no phone use
Post-Training:
- File: grades, attendance, evaluations
