My name is Moe,
I’m a recent graduate of Page’s CDL training program taught by Jason Grasso. Last Fall, I was given the opportunity to take Page’s CDL training program and I did. Jason began the instruction in the classroom covering everything we needed to know before we got behind the wheel and what to expect once we were actually driving. From the classroom we went out to the parking lot where we went over and over each day the proper way to inspect your truck. Eventually we started learning our maneuvers and going on drives. All of this leading to actually taking the road test for our CDL.
There were 3 other students in my class all of whom had future driving positions with Page Trucking upon their successful completion of the class and having obtained their CDL’s. I was offered several opportunities to continue on with Page Trucking during the course. All 4 of us came from different backgrounds, had different abilities, and had our strengths and weaknesses. Jason was able to get through to each of us and teach us the skills we needed to become professional drivers. All 4 of passed our NYS driving test and received our CDL’s.

I just wanted to say thanks and to show my appreciation for the outstanding training I received as a Class A driver. Even though I was unable to get a job placement with Page Trucking, I was able to get a driving job with very minimal additional training at Bluegrass Trucking in Henderson, KY. I was hired in with another guy on the same day that had just gone through a CDL class at Owensboro Community Technical College. There was clearly a big difference between our training. I was quickly moved from training with someone to being on my own, whereas the other driver was still working on basic skills in training. I would like to give many thanks to all that had a hand in allowing me to stay and receive the skillful training that Jason and Page Training Center provided me.

I am writing to recommend the Page Training Center CDL-A program based on my recent experience as a graduate of their six-week paid training program.
Prior to enrolling at Page Training Center, I attended another CDL training program. While I did obtain experience there, I felt that the training did not adequately prepare me for real-world driving or for the New York State DMV Road test. Recognizing the need to strengthen my skills and confidence, I made the decision to enroll at Page Training Center to further develop my abilities and better prepare for testing and employment.
From the start, Page Training Center exceeded my expectations. The small class size allowed for individualized attention, giving instructors the opportunity to focus on specific areas where I needed improvement. This personalized approach was instrumental in fortifying my driving skills, increasing my confidence, and improving my overall readiness for the DMV road test. In hindsight, choosing Page Training Center was a very successful and worthwhile decision.
One aspect of the program that I especially appreciated was the Hazmat training course. This class not only expanded my understanding of safety and compliance but also ensured I met the ELDT (Entry-Level Driver Training) requirements, further enhancing my preparedness for employment.
Page Training Center also distinguished itself by bringing multiple trucking companies into the classroom to discuss employment opportunities and recruiting options. These sessions provided valuable insight into different sectors of the industry and highlighted the wide range of career paths available with a CDL-A license. Having direct exposure to potential employers during class time was an invaluable benefit of the program.
Overall, my experience at Page Training Center was extremely positive. My name is Robert Muckey, and I participated in the “Class A CDL Training Program” at Page Training Center. I was sent to Page Training Center for my CDL training by my employer, Barnes & Cone Operating of Syracuse, New York.
One of the greatest strengths of Page Training Center is the small class size, which allows for individualized, hands-on instruction. The instructor took the time to work with each student one-on-one, ensuring no one falls behind and that everyone fully understands both the classroom material and the behind-the-wheel training.
